One longstanding tradition in Glenmary is the annual Student Gathering over Thanksgiving weekend. The weekend get away is a perfectly timed break from school right before the final papers are due and cramming for the final exams begins. In recent years vocation prospects have joined us in the celebration and by doing so are able to experience the joys of community life. They are also able to taste a Thanksgiving meal that has flavors from all of the world. With a diverse group of Glenmary students, the recipes from home bring flavors that are not normally tasted in a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. But each man prepared something from home and it was shared at the table. We are thankful for the many gifts that our students bring to the Glenmary community.
