As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am in Nairobi, Kenya hosting a vocation retreat for men from East Africa. Fr. Don and I are staying at Savelberg Retreat Centre with the five men who are discerning their vocation as a Glenmary missioner. Today marks the beginning of the formal retreat. Prayer, discussions and one-on-one interviews will be this weekends activities. In our short weekend we will share with them an overview of the Glenmary charism, the history of Glenmary, the mission need to the Glenmary Oath.
