Nun Run 2013

Catholic religious congregations of sisters in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the Diocese of Covington have set the date for their annual “NUN RUN 2013. The event is scheduled for April 19-20 for single Catholic women ages 18-40.

A Nun Run is a pilgrimage which gives young women the opportunity to visit a variety of sisters’ houses and convents over a 24 hour period. The sisters will provide transportation, overnight hospitality, meals, prayer and lots of fun. All of this and no actual running is involved! The goal is to give participants an opportunity to visit as many sisters’ communities as possible, but since it includes an overnight, don’t worry there will be time to sleep as well.

It may not be as big or as fast as the Flying Pig Marathon but next month's Nun Run in Cincinnati is an event you don't want to miss. If you are interested, please contact Sr. Cathy Bauer, OSB at bauerosb@yahoo.com or call Sr. Carolyn Brink at 513-658-1142 or Sr. Marilyn Kerber, SNDdeN at mkerber@catholiccincinnati.org

 Participating Communities include:

Sisters of Mercy - Cincinnati, OH
Sisters of Notre Dame - Covington, KY
Sisters of St. Francis - Oldenburg, IN
