Vocation Prayer

"At the sight of the crowds, his heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.'" Matthew 9:36-38

LORD, help me to know myself
and my abilities,
to free myself to think about my life's' work.
Lord, help me to see the choices I can follow
marriage
single life
priest
sister
brother
in response to your love for me.
And finally, Lord,
give me the strength and courage
to serve You and Your people
in whatever way You call me.
