Come and See Trips

July and August we hosted three Come and see trips.  One at the beginning of the July itwas for men over the age of 18 and the second one was for men between the ages of 15-18. Both trips included visits to St. Meinrad Seminary and to the Glenmary mission in Lafayette, Tennessee. The August trip for men over the age of 18 went to Unicoi County, TN

In the mission the participants had a chance to pray in community, to meet Glenmary priests, brothers and students and to experience some of the activities in the mission. Some of those activities included; Vacation Bible School, Mass in the local county jail and Sunday Mass in the mission. The trip to the seminary gave guys a chance to see what life is like in a seminary and to meet one of our Glenmary priests who lives at the Glenmary House of Studies. Both the seminary visit and the mission visit helped guys understand the process of becoming a Glenmary missioner and how we live out our call as missioners.
