This past week's visit to Mexico included visits with a few men who are discerning their vocations as a missionary priest or brother. Traveling to each of their homes and villages took me across the states of Guanajuato, Jalisco and Aguas Calientes. Meeting with men of deep faith who are trying to understand where God is calling them was inspiring to me. They are listening to the voice of God and trying to understand how to respond. Additional highlights of the trip also included visiting religious education classrooms and having the opportunity to meet and pray with the 102 year old grandfather of a young man I met along the journey.
