Nearly two years after Glenmary Home Missioners successfully returned the mission to the care of the Diocese of Little Rock, the growing parish has completed construction on its new home. Glenmary's Fr. Don Tranel, former mission pastor in Booneville, Arkansas has returned home to his former mission assignment to participate in the weekends activities which include the dedication the new Church for the members of Our Lady of the Assumption.
The original Church was dedicated in 1956
