Most Rev. William Francis Medley, the Fourth Bishop of the Diocese of Owensboro ordained two Glenmary priests. During his homily he reflected on the significance of the number of priests serving in his diocese who come from many different parts the world. A phenomenon which is not just limited to his diocese but is happening around the United States. Bishop Medley states that the increasing number of foreign born priests in the USA is "especially catholic" and "reflects the universality of the Church." He also stated that "the United States must never forget its debt to those lands who share their priests."
